The Faculty of Medicine has established a commission for animal research. It enhances the quality and transparency of animal research, promotes animal welfare in accordance with the 3R principles, and supports researchers with advice, standards, and central coordination.

The University Eye Clinic in Magdeburg invites you to attend a video training session on November 12, 2025. The focus will be on current surgical techniques, complex surgical cases, and practical discussions. Real procedures from last year will be shown—from the treatment of subretinal hemorrhages to modern glaucoma surgery.

The Faculty of Medicine invites you to attend the inaugural lecture by Dr. Marcus Krüger on November 7, 2025. The topic is “Exogenous influences on cells: From molecular changes to clinical relevance.”
