Whether in nursing, in the laboratory, in radiology or in the operating room - new trainees are welcome everywhere at the University Medical Center Magdeburg (UMMD). Thus, at the beginning of August, 123 new trainees started at the UMMD Training Center (AZG). On August 11 and 12, they were officially welcomed in the houses of AZG1 and AZG2 respectively.

On August 1, 2022, Magdeburg University Medical Center accepted Vietnamese trainees for nursing training for the first time in its history. This special project is not only a novelty, but a significant gain in terms of our own future provision of nursing specialists.

At this year's 57th annual conference of the German Society for Social Medicine and Prevention (DGSMP e.V.) together with the German Society for Medical Sociology (DGMS), health experts will discuss the challenges facing social medicine and medical sociology in the face of rapid digital change.
