The next Medical Sunday will focus on the topic of “Living with diabetes”. Renowned experts Prof. Dr. Peter Mertens and his colleague senior physician Dr. Silke Klose will provide insights into the disease, explain treatment approaches and present current diagnostic and therapeutic options.

On May 13, 2024, the popular "Storch im Rathaus" event took place for the fifth time. The event attracted numerous future parents who were able to obtain comprehensive information about various aspects of birth planning. Of course, the University Women's Hospital Magdeburg was also on hand to provide information about its pregnancy and birth services.

Under the motto "Mechanical Circulatory Support", Magdeburg University Hospital is organising the 2nd Magdeburg Artificial Heart Evening. During this event, the artificial heart team from the University Clinic for Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Magdeburg will provide exciting insights into the latest research findings and clinical developments.
